HOW IT WORKS: Co-washing is short for “conditioner-only washing.” It means skipping shampoo and relying solely on this product, whether you’re a daily or a weekly washer. The result is something between squeaky-clean and second-day hair—that is, smoother, softer, and easier to manage.
TO USE: Fully saturate your hair with water. Squeeze out a healthy amount of co-wash. Massage the conditioner into the scalp and distribute evenly through the ends. Allow to sit 3-5 minutes. Rinse and proceed to style as normal. You may discover that you need less styling product since the hair is less parched and more responsive.
- For fine, thin hair: Co-wash is not necessary for extended periods of time.
- For thick, coarse hair: You may find that co-washing for extended periods of time helps rejuvenate dry and damaged hair from repetitive heat styling.

First of all, the scent is great. It's lightly floral and I've had comments from the husband several days after using this product that my hair smells great! In terms of the co-wash product, I really like this. I have thin fine hair so don't co-wash all the time (once every month or so) and this product leaves my hair beautifully shiny and easy to manage. I have used a lot of product each time, but the bottle itself lasted 6+ washes (and this is with me using what feels like excessive amounts of it each time). Highly recommend.
I absolutely love this product!! Since I can't wash my curls a ton, this saves me when my hair needs a little pick me up. This scent is one of my favorites, and I'm sad that I didn't take the chance and try it until after it went into the museum!
