I need more so bad. Favorite scent. And the foaming scrub is perfection honestly. Just scrubby enough without being too rough on my sensitive skin and the foaming makes me feel cleaner to boot.
The foaming sugar scrub is my favorite of all the FCS scrubs. They aren’t harsh on my skin so it doesn’t leave me feeling scratched up. I like the foaming aspect, it makes it easier to rub around. The big container is nice!
I fell absolutely in love with this scrub. I don't know if it's because the collection was extended or what, but the 8.6 oz container was a blessing. It took me about a month and a half to go through it (I'm sure I could have made it last longer but I was generous and it felt good, sue me). At first I was having a hard time getting the scrub to foam, but you really have to take the "vigorous" part of the directions seriously. By not skimping on the amount used and the vigorous scrubbing, I worked up a lather in no time and the sugar scrubbing up and down my skin gave me the feeling of being just a little bit sandblasted by the harsh Tatooine deserts. The scrub left my skin soft and ready for moisturizing, and gave me the ability to finally start in on a regimented body skin care journey.
The scent is something else, which I'm going to have to thank my Soap Fairy for because apparently not everyone got the same experience I did. In the best way possible it reminded me of like a zesty jelly bean if that makes any sense. It was a full and round smell that was sweet without being sugary (surprising based on the scrub base) and definitely had lime zest with that sweetness of pear, but still had a good base note that I'm assuming was the sandalwood because this was not a candy scent despite me calling it a jelly bean one. I'm missing this one something horribly now that I've used it all.
I found that there was just a slight pumpkin scent, but that is all that I could guess. It was a great scrub, but I could not find any lather. There were no bubbles while I was massaging, then adding water. But it was much easier to use then the slice of cake; but the cake had a more intense smell.
I just wasn't thrilled with this product. The scent just wasn't there for me. I keep trying it and can't find the scent....
