• Glycolic Acid -- Glycolic Acid, a member of the AHA's (Alpha Hydroxy Acids), instantly brightens your complexion by exfoliating skin using natural chemistry which transforms your outer dead skin cell layer to provide a radiant luster. Unlike other products, a Glycolic Acid moisturizer is not washed off the face, so your skin is able to drink in the benefits of glycolic acid all day and/or night long! Glycolic Acid also acts as a powerful skin lightener to combat irregular skin pigment, lighten melasma and diminish the appearance of age spots. The ability to remove the top layer of skin to reveal fresh skin underneath means that Glycolic Acid products can also make your skin more vulnerable to the sun. You should, therefore, use sunscreen in conjunction with this, or any product that contains Glycolic Acid. 

• Pyrus Malus (Apple Extract) -- This acidic, vitamin-rich fruit extract helps promote natural cell exfoliation and encourages a healthy rate of skin cell replacement which may help improve acne and psoriasis symptoms. The extract also inhibits elastase, an enzyme that breaks down elastin and collagen helping maintain smooth, youthful skin.
