I didn't get the tie dye effect everyone else seems to have received. Mine was just a drab looking green. Boring color aside, I loooooove this scent. It smells like a head shop, all sweet incense and smoke.
This is a very, very, very nag champa scent. If you don't like nag champa, you won't like this. The dry-down mellows out and the vanilla sweetens it up some. I like it, but it's definitely a scent I need to be in the mood for, and it's really a cool weather fragrance.
I was hoping that this would be more vanilla than nag champa, it's not so that was a little disappointing. But I rehomed it to somebody who loves it! The formula is still 5 stars!
first of all, the tyedye color effect on this lotion is super cute. second, i'm typically a foodie/candy scent lover; i like really sweet, fun scents and don't typically enjoy musk-type scents. that being said, i LOVE this lotion. it reminds me of my teenage years, lol...i don't really like patchouli, which is what a lot of lotions have when the scent is supposed to be a little on the heavy side. THIS has nag champa, which i actually love, and it's a sweet, heavy, head-shop smell. kudos guys, this is a brilliant scent!
First Impressions: It’s pretty! Although the colors are not nearly as bright as the product photo, it is still a pretty tie-dye product.
Final Review: Not a fan. I was expecting to like it. I like earthy scents, so I thought I would love this Perhaps I don’t like nag champa, or I don’t know what it’s supposed to smell like. Everyone I know keeps saying it smells like an “incense store”, but all I smell is baby powder. Strong baby powder. Maybe that’s what nag champa smells like, but it's just not for me.
I will leave this with 2 stars because of the look and it’s still the same great Whipped Cream formula Fortune Cookie Soap is almost known for; it absorbs quickly and leaves your skin feeling soft and satiny without any oily or slimy residue like other lotions.
