Discontinued $14.49
Smells like a slice of heaven. Decadent cake. Sticky caramel. Deep vanilla.
HOW IT WORKS: Co-washing is short for “conditioner-only washing.” It means skipping the shampoo and relying solely on this product, whether you’re a daily or a weekly washer. The result is something between squeaky-clean and second-day hair—that is, smoother, softer, and easier to manage.
TO USE: Fully saturate your hair with water. Squeeze out a healthy amount of co-wash. Massage the conditioner into the scalp and distribute evenly through the ends. Allow to sit 3-5 minutes. Rinse and proceed to style as normal. You may discover that you need less styling product since the hair is less parched and more responsive.
*Each hair type is different and may respond differently to a co-wash treatment.
Net wt. 8 oz
Ingredients: Water (Aqua), Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Organic Garcinia Indica Seed Butter, Argan Oil, D-Panthenol, Dimethicone, Cyclomethicone, Hydroxypropyltrimonium Honey, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Cetrimonium Chloride, Fragrance.
Turns out I am just not someone who needs a co-wash. I wash my hair every other day and this didn't really seem to help my off days. The smell, however, is delightful almost like a hazelnut cake and not overwhelming either.
This worked very well for my hair, and I loved the scent. I have been silicone-free for quite a while, so I was so glad the soap-fairies gave silicone-free a try. I wish they did more, but I understand shy they didn't. I hope some day they do another silicone-free hair product.
I thought this was going to be better than what I imagined. I just don't feel it washes my hair as well as the shampoo bars. I understand it's a co wash but it doesn't really lather giving me that feeling of cleanliness. I haven't tried to the co wash in a while since it first came out so I thought I'd give this one a try. I wasn't disappointed, I'll still use it as my hair does get soft but it's not something I'd buy on the regular
