This is a hot cool reaction, like the muscle relaxer rubs. It was interesting, but not my favorite form for use. I would rather have it in stick form so it doesn't get all over the hands.
I understand they have a huge catalog and are busy people, but I do wish they updated their ingredient lists for each product. This is not the first time I've run into an issue where it is clear they copy paste an ingredient list from product to product, even if this particular one is different (sometimes its a totally wrong list! like a whipped cream getting a bath bomb's list or another mistake).
In this case, that's definitely the ingredient list for their usual aloe-me whipped creams. But the description says "we’ve added a cooling sensation to provide extra relief" but the ingredients do NOT show menthol or peppermint essential oil, which this definitely must have. The ingredient list only says "fragrance" and does not elaborate.
Unfortunately I had the WORST skin reaction to using this. It smells nice, and I've used the headache oil and other "spot" cooling things from FCS, but my skin could NOT handle this cream. It must have a very high level of menthol or something. I ended up having to take another whole body shower and use non-scented baby lotion for a couple days after applying this, my whole body skin was basically 100% a bumpy red reaction :(
This is the perfect aloe me for a sunburn. The cooling of the aloe plus the mint works nice to cool and soothe parched and irritated skin.
FCS’ Aloe Mes are a wonderful product for the summertime or anywhere the climate is hot and humid. I live in Florida and this product is the perfect mix of lotion/whipped cream and aloe for my needs. I like how you can mix the product up or take a bit of each part. The aloe part is awesome at adding extra moisture and helping prevent skin from burning/peeling after sun exposure. I recommend keeping this product in the fridge for a special summertime treat.
I got this is a GWYG bag, and stashed it away until it was warm enough to face the sun. I just grabbed this for a recent trip to NOLA, and am so happy I did! I spent several days at the hotel pool, and this saved my fair skin! I love the minty/fresh scent too. I don't pick up any vanilla - just peppermint & lemon, which I LOVE!
