I like using this body butter before going to bed. It's a comforting scent, light and powdery. I'm a fan of violets. I think that and the other notes keep this from veering into baby powder territory. Soft and feminine, it makes me feel relaxed and pretty.
I wasn't a huge fan of the scent when I originally purchased this, it reminded me of something and I couldn't figure out what. Slowly it grew on me what the scent reminded me of, and right after my gram passed away I realized it smells exactly like the dusting powder she used after every.single.shower from the time I was little. I will always keep at least a CYO of this in my collection just for sentimental reasons.
I became a lotion snob when I was pregnant three years ago. I've found it hard to find a lotion I like the texture and smell of. Hanging Tree has a light scent. I only smell baby powder. The texture is what I feel in love with. It's whipped and thick, but not greasy. I feel like it hydrates my skin and does not just sit on top of my skin. I have also noticed after using FCS whipped creams for about a month now, I have not had to reapply lotion to my hand during the day. I usually have to reapply lotion to my hand after washing them during the day because they feel dry. While using FCS whipped creams I have noticed I have not been doing this during the day and my hands never feel dry.
That's the only word that comes to mind, it smells like soap, but a very good smelling soap. The kind you want to smell all day. I am obsessed with their whipped body butters. The secret is to keep rubbing it in until it turns your skin silky smooth. My hands have never felt nor smelled so good.
